What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us:
- Contact form: your name, business name, email address, phone number, website address and your message.
- Email, phone and WhatsApp: whatever you include when you contact us directly.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, give you the advice or audit you asked for and, if you become a client, to deliver and manage your service. Our lawful bases are your consent when you contact us, steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
We won't add you to a marketing list or sell your information to anyone.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site and our business:
- Netlify hosts this website and processes contact form submissions.
- Google Fonts supplies the fonts on this site, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.
- Email and messaging providers, including WhatsApp if you message us there.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use recognised safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as you're a client and then for up to 6 years, to meet our accounting and legal obligations.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to us using it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email info@lillianpurge.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
